Principal Accounting Assistant

JOB PURPOSE:   

A female to provide general accounting support including preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual close processes financial statements and reports.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Performs banking and cashiering duties including preparation of monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements
  2. Assists in the preparation of financial reports including financial statements, Cash flow statements and variance analysis
  3. Maintains proper accounting records
  4. Assists with the preparation of annual budget of the Secretariat
  5. Collects data for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports
  6. Perform any other duties as required

 QUALIFICATION:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from a recognised university.

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of three (3) years post-qualification relevant working experience

  • Demonstrated human relations skills
  • Record-keeping skills
  • Effective Communication skills
  • Organisational and leadership skills
  • Computer skills
