Prof. Ivan Addae-Mensah

Ivan Addae Mensah is an Emeritus Professor of Chemistry and a former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana. He is a Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Fellow of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences (Vice President for the Sciences from 2003 to 2007).

He was awarded the State Honour of Companion of the Order of the Volta (COV) by the State of Ghana in 2006 for his contribution to education and public service by Former Ghanaian President John Kufuor.

 He was educated at Achimota School, the University of Ghana, Legon, where he obtained his BSc and MSc degrees, and Churchill College, Cambridge, United Kingdom where he obtained his PhD degree.
