EAP Secretariat Celebrates Two National Service Personnel

  • 3 Min Read

The Encyclopaedia Africana Project (EAP) Secretariat held a closing ceremony on Thursday, 1 October 2026, to celebrate and congratulate two (2) National Service Personnel, Tracy Appiah Kusi and Holden Ansah, on the successful completion of their service year with the EAP Secretariat.

During their period of service, Tracy and Holden contributed their skills, dedication and support to the work and activities of the Encyclopaedia Africana Project, making valuable contributions to the progress of the Secretariat.

The Director of the EAP Secretariat, Mr. Christian Dovi, congratulated Tracy and Holden on reaching this significant milestone. In his remarks, he encouraged them never to trivialise any season or achievement in their lives, but to recognise and celebrate important milestones intentionally. He noted that marking such occasions creates lasting memories that can serve as reminders of how far one has come and sources of encouragement in the future.

Mr. Christian Dovi further commended Tracy and Holden for their resilience, commitment and diligence in seeing their service year through to completion. He encouraged them to maintain their connection with the EAP Secretariat, live upright and God-fearing lives even as they embark on the next phase of their lives.

Members of the Secretariat also took turns to express their appreciation to Tracy and Holden and to acknowledge their hard work and contributions throughout their stay. They encouraged the two former service personnel to acknowledge God in all their endeavours, remain disciplined, and maintain an attitude of gratitude regardless of their circumstances.

As a gesture of appreciation for their service and contributions, Tracy and Holden were each presented with a cash award.

The EAP Secretariat congratulates Tracy Appiah Kusi and Holden Ansah on the successful completion of their National Service and wishes them every success, fulfilment, and God’s guidance as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.

Editor’s Note

This website features a collection of articles largely from previously published volumes of the Encyclopaedia Africana, specifically the Encyclopaedia Africana Dictionary of African Biography, which highlights notable individuals from various regions of Africa. Please note that in these volumes, some names of people, towns, and countries were spelled differently than they are today. We have retained these historical spellings to preserve the integrity of the original publications. In some instances, the current spellings are also provided for easy reference.
