Prof. Norbert Francois Tchiadje Tchouaffe
Prof. Tchouaffe is a research scientist with a wealth of knowledge and contributions to the fields of agriculture, disaster management, environmental engineering, educational consultancy, and research.
He serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Ebolowa and Kesmonds International University in Cameroon, a Researcher Fellow at the Pan-African Institute for Development in Cameroon, a mentor at the African Academy of Sciences, and for the Science Advice Skills Development Programme (SASDP-3) of the International Network for Governmental Science Advice, Africa since 08/2024, a Technical Expert at UN-Energy and AUDA-NEPAD. Author of Tchouaffé’s theory of change (TToC), he was also a Visiting Scholar at MIT, USA from 2014 to 2015.
Prof. Tchouaffe obtained his Postdoctoral Certificate in Social Vulnerability and Disasters and his PhD in Applied Development Sciences and has pursued further studies, including a Certificate in Advanced Studies (CAS) in Integrated Water Resources Management from Bern University of Applied Sciences, a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Technology and Sustainable Development from the International Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, and a Diploma in International Environmental Law from UNITAR in Geneva. He also holds a specialized Postgraduate Certificate in Technology and Sustainable Development from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) in India
