Prof. Kofi Anyidoho

Professor of Literature and Specialist in Pan-African Studies. Poet. 1st Occupant, Kwame Nkrumah Chair in African Studies, Univ. of Ghana.

Was President of the US-based African Literature Association. Fellow and Vice President (Arts Section) of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences, Honorary doctorate, University of Glasgow.

Prof. Anyidoho has published several journal articles and book chapters and has edited several major books on African literature and culture.

He holds a B.A. Honours in English and Linguistics from the University of Ghana-Legon, an M.A. in Folklore from Indiana University-Bloomington, and a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Texas in Austin.
